Sally has series-directed across a number of popular BAFTA Award-winning returnable series in observational documentary and factual entertainment, as well as single documentaries for both US and UK broadcasters. She is known for her invigorating character portrayals bringing surprise, warmth and humour to films with difficult subject areas, making them accessible to a wider audience.

As an excellent self-shooter, Sally enjoys pushing cinematographic boundaries and once put a Go Pro on a golden eagle in outer Mongolia to be able to film its kill. She has filmed and interviewed hit-men, prostitutes, refugees, indigenous tribes, politicians and celebrities, and her versatility was further displayed when she survived four weeks as a director on the BAFTA Award-winning series ‘The Island with Bear Grylls’, foraging for her own food and water to live as she filmed celebrity contestants doing the same .

Sally was listed in Company’s magazine’s “30 Most powerful women under 30” in the TV industry.
